Commissioning Agent / Construction Administrator -Electrical focused

We offer growth and stability in an ever-changing volatile environment. We are looking for a Commissioning Agent / Construction Administrator to work on a specific project located at JFK airport.
Some of your responsibilities include the following :
- Provide Commissioning and Construction Administrative including engineering and technical support on ongoing projects
- Review designs and lead and direct onsite commissioning activities, including technical documentation and contractual requirements
- Ensure all aspect of construction project are designed, installed, tested and maintained
- Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and checklist
- Assist with identification and addressing of commissioning and construction MEPFP system operational issues. Responsibilities include development of Commissioning Plans, specifications and finial Commissioning Report.
- Track and review progress, compile reports
- Maintain strong client relationships
- Schedule and supervise operational reviews in association with staff
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Electrical Background
- The ability to manage a project from Cradle to Grave .
- The ability to act as a liaison between Vanderweil Engineers (PIC, Project Manager and engineers), end client(owner) and contractor (including subcontractors)
Essential Skills & Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 8 Years plus experience in related field (including on-site construction experience is required). Electrical focused.
- PE, CX, and LEED Certification is desirable
- Strong analytical ability and writing skills necessary
- Leadership experience helpful
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Please local candidates only. The compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and negotiable as well as dependent upon years of experience, PE licensure, education, leadership skills and technical skills.
The expected compensation should fall between $120,000 and $160,000.00 annually.
