Summary
Thisposition assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing careconsistent with his / her educational training. Responsible foradhering to all established Standards of Nursing Practices and theorganization's policies and procedures.
JobQualifications
- Education from anaccredited school of nursing that results in becoming a LicensedPractical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Long-termcare / Rehab / Assisted Living experience preferred
- Current license in the state you will be working as aLicensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- IV Certification required or willing to obtain within sixmonths of employment
- Current CPR / AEDCertification required or willing to obtain within six months ofemployment
- Must be able to assess the basicnursing care needs of the geriatric resident
- Must possess excellent communication skills to interactwith residents, visitors and staff
- Excellenttime management and organizational skills are required
- Must possess critical thinking skills
