What does a Department Chair at Prospect Hill do?

Prospect Hill Academy Middle School is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and skilled instructional leader to lead the Math & Science department for grades 7 and 8.

Responsibilities for this role include :

• Instructional coaching and support for two Math and two Science teachers
• Oversight and development of Math and Science curricula, in collaboration with teachers and district-wide curriculum leaders
• Planning and facilitation of department planning and data meetings
• Participation on the Middle School Instructional Leadership Team
• Providing remedial instruction to small groups of students in Math Intervention
