About The Position
Position : Sterile Processing Technician
Assignment Length : 13 weeks
Shift Details : 8-hour Evening Shifts (varying start times between 2 : 00 PM and 4 : 00 PM), every other weekend rotation, holiday rotation.
Required Certifications : Sterile Processing Certification through a nationally recognized organization.
Scrub Details : Standard scrub attire required.
Floating Requirements : May include varying shifts including weekend, holiday, and on-call hours.
EMR Used : Not specified.
Other Relevant Skills :
- Disassembly, decontamination, disinfection, inspection, testing, assembly, packaging, labeling, high level disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Operation of ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers, and related equipment.
- Quality monitoring and documentation.
- Preparation of case carts for surgery.
- Supply inventory management and clinic instrument rounds.
