Description and Responsibilities :
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Group Lead for our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Lead and supervise a team of machinists on the 2nd shift, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production targets.
- Coordinate with other shift leads and management to ensure seamless transition and communication across shifts.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards, ensuring all products meet company specifications and customer requirements.
- Train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or leadership training is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools is preferred.
