Weston Pediatric Physicians has been serving the town of Weston and the surrounding communities since 1964! In February of 2024, Weston Pediatrics acquired Mill Brook Pediatrics in Sudbury, expanding our care in the Metro West area.

The Nurse Manager at Weston Pediatrics and Weston Pediatrics at Mill Brook is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the clinical staff who support the providers of our two practices in Weston and Sudbury.
The Nurse Manager works with the Practice Administrator, Office Managers and the Providers to ensure that the clinical support staff work efficiently and to the best of their ability.
The Nurse Manager will support the clinical staff and lead by example which includes, but is not limited to, providing direct patient care.
- Principle Duties and Responsibilities : *
- Maintains and manages the Practice’s nursing operations by initiating and coordinating daily operational and personnel policies and procedures
- Responsible for nursing staff schedules, ensuring adequate floor and triage coverage
- Hold regular staff meetings
- Coordinate and participate in training programs for staff (CPR, OSHA, HIPAA)
- Triage patients’ phone calls, schedule same day appointments, and send clinical messages to the providers
- Provide direct support to vaccine manager including oversee, order, and maintain state supplied vaccines
- Monitor and submit temperature logs to MDPH monthly with vaccine orders
- Oversee Synagis program
- Organize vaccine clinics
- Meet monthly with Lab Consultant
- Maintain in-house laboratory
- Oversee lead program
- Monitor biohazard log and safety checklist
- Monitor and track medical supplies
- Participate in monthly nurse manager meetings in collaboration with other affiliated practices
- Attend practice meeting with all providers once a month to discuss any new policies or procedures to be operationalized.
- Qualifications*
- Education / Experience Requirements*
- Minimum of 1-2 years previous supervisory experience required, preferably in an ambulatory setting
- Previous experience in pediatrics preferred
- Experience with Epic preferred
- POC testing, phlebotomy preferred
- Licensure Requirements*
- Massachusetts RN or LPN License required
- Qualifications / Skills / Abilities : *
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a pediatric ambulatory setting
