Length : 13 weeks

Traveler must be available to work every other weekend / holiday

Targeted patient ratios are 1 : 4, but they can be up to 1 : 5-6 Must have the following requirements :

• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.
• BLS, ACLS required, NIH preferred - must be able to read and interpret strips
• IV Start
• Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered / needed.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a large hospital; level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience.
• Travel experience preferredUnit Details : High acuity, fast-paced step-down unit. Needs good time management skills.Excellent critical thinking skills, cardiac monitor interpretation, Ventilator / trach experience, ACLS, manage chest tubes, drains, NIH Stroke Certification, Cardiac drips.

Patient Population : DKA, GI bleed, COPD, Pneumonia, Stroke, Sepsis, Urology complications.

Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
