GeneralPurpose : The Event Server is committed to greatcustomer service and has a passion for promoting 21c Museum Hotels.
The Event Server is thorough taskoriented can effectively completetasks of varying importance and can dependably hop into anyposition within their department at any given time.
The EventServer is willing and able to be a part of a diverse work forceserving a diverse clientele and can relate to people from a varietyof backgrounds.
SpecificResponsibilities :
- Handson execution of event while working with other B&Cteammates
- Interacts with Event Captains andEvent Manager throughout function to ensure excellent eventservice.
- Fulfills any and all setup and teardown of events per BEO Req sheet and EventCaptain.
- Executes excellent customer service toall guests in hotel / restaurant not just those attendingevent.
- Takes orders from guests serves food anddrinks and clears tables as necessary.
- Followsthe steps of service for each specific type ofevent.
- Demonstratesknowledge of procedures terminology and techniques used in theB&C department.
- Demonstrates knowledgeof ingredients of all food and beverage items served and availablefor the function.
- Knows hours features andservices offered by 21c MuseumHotels.
- Demonstrates a positive proactive andmotivated attitude in any situation.
- Able towork in a team for large events and solo for smallermeetings.
- Reports to work on time and ready towork scheduledshift.
Qualifications :
Ableto work flexible hours (nightsweekends).
- Responsible dependablepunctual.
- Basic mathskills.
- Strong communication skills; must beable to speak read and understandEnglish.
- Clean and professionalappearance.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for allthings 21c.
- Beverage knowledge (spirits& beer / wine / especially Bourbon).
- Mustpass a backgroundcheck.
PhysicalRequirements :
- Must beable to carry full cocktail traycomfortably.
- Must be able to stand and walk forlong periods of time
- Must be able to lift atleast 50pounds
