Position Title : Capital Project Manager (Engineering)

You may never have heard of TekniPlex, but we are a $2B a year company with 9,000 employees, 60+ plants and have locations in 14 countries.

This role will support Capital Projects at our plants in North America. Some recent / current capital projects included building a new plant in Van Wert, OH and adding a second plant to our Madison, WI Location.

Of course, we are always updating and adding production lines throughout our plants. Partnering with the local engineering staff is critical in this role.

Location : Remote with extensive travel (75% Monthly, Monday - Thursday, 3 out of 4 weeks a month), primarily domestic with occasional international trips.

Overview : Work in various project management capacities across multiple business units both domestically and globally as a member of a select team of engineers and manufacturing personnel in identifying, supporting, and executing on strategic and tactical initiatives across the Tekni-Plex portfolio.

Key Functions :

Project Management : Corporate Project Management Office (PMO)

  • Proficient in AutoCAD for facility and line drawings across multiple BU’s and platforms.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage timelines on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in collaboration tools and processes for scalable project standard documentation.

Travel Emphasis :

Expected travel 75% Monthly (Monday - Thursday, 3 out of 4 weeks a month), primarily domestic with occasional international travel.

Additional Job Functions :

  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop creative solutions to unforeseen issues as they arise.
  • Lead meetings / calls with employees, contractors, and other stakeholders who may have competing priorities.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree.
  • Project Management Certified.
  • CAD certified.
  • Hands-on MS Office and MS Teams experience.

Salary Range of $105,000 to $120,000 DOE
