SLP-CCC - School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

Currently, we’re hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in St. Louis, Missouri. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details :

• $1,-$1, per week
• Bonus : $3, Assignment Bonus for new SHC employees
• Schedule : Full-time. 32-40 hours per week for the - school year
• Start Date : August
• End Date : May with the option to extend
• Location : In-person or virtual / remote options
• Details : Early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school caseload options. Will split caseload for part-time SLP candidates.

Very collaborative team and mentor provided.

• Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements :

• Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
• Missouri SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification
