PsychologistJobDescription :
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations,
- Provideclinicalsupervisionto behavioral health staff,
- Evaluateandmonitormentalhealthclinical servicestoensuretheyarebeing delivered inaccordancewithprofessionalstandards,
- Provideclinicaltreatmentservicesto youth, including individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducational programming,
- Provideconsultationand / orcrisisinterventionforyouthwhopresentemergentissuesthat poseapotentialrisk tothemselvesorothers,
- Provideclinical education, consultationandleadership for staff who work in secure residential facilities,
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice psychology.
Note : License may be temporary, provisional, or permanent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with justice involved youth in residential treatment settings,
- Experience providing clinical supervision to treatment staff,
- Training and experience in trauma-focused interventions
