Reporting to the HR Manager, this position supports HR activities for their Kane, PA facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Job Title : HR Generalist

Job Type : Full-time / Direct Hire / In-person

Reports to : HR Manager

Shift : Days

Pay : Targeting $55,000 annually, but can fluctuate based on experience

Essential functions for this HR Generalist role will include :

  • Recruiting and staffing of all hourly and salaried positions for the facility, to include collaboration with local staffing firms and schools to recruit talent
  • Prepare offer letters, conduct pre-employment tasks and drive onboarding activities
  • Enter all new hire information into timekeeping software and payroll system and support payroll administration for the site
  • Coordinate and assist supervisors with employee relations and respond to all employee requests
  • Maintain all personnel files to meet all State, Federal & Company requirements
  • Support benefit and compensation programs, including disability and FMLA
  • Assist with monthly safety committee meetings, accident investigations and process workers' compensation claims
  • Administer unemployment compensation claims and represent the company at hearings and investigations
  • Support the performance management process, to include assistance with employee appraisals, corrective actions and exit interviews as needed
  • Support employee engagement programs and coordinate activities (retirement / anniversary events, company sponsored lunches and / or company events)
  • Support the maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures

We're looking for skilled HR professionals with the following background profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
