Pay : Targeting $55,000 annually, but can fluctuate based on experience

Essential functions for this HR Generalist role will include :
- Recruiting and staffing of all hourly and salaried positions for the facility, to include collaboration with local staffing firms and schools to recruit talent
- Prepare offer letters, conduct pre-employment tasks and drive onboarding activities
- Enter all new hire information into timekeeping software and payroll system and support payroll administration for the site
- Coordinate and assist supervisors with employee relations and respond to all employee requests
- Maintain all personnel files to meet all State, Federal & Company requirements
- Support benefit and compensation programs, including disability and FMLA
- Assist with monthly safety committee meetings, accident investigations and process workers' compensation claims
- Administer unemployment compensation claims and represent the company at hearings and investigations
- Support the performance management process, to include assistance with employee appraisals, corrective actions and exit interviews as needed
- Support employee engagement programs and coordinate activities (retirement / anniversary events, company sponsored lunches and / or company events)
- Support the maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures
We're looking for skilled HR professionals with the following background profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing facility
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
