Electrical Engineer Shift : 7am-3 : 30pm M-F (Maple Grove, MN)
Electrical Engineer Job Overview : The Electrical Engineer helps to design models, wiring plans, telecommunication devices, power generators and other electrical equipment and systems.
Use their knowledge of math, science and physics to develop & design reliable products. They meet with clients, application specialists and sales staff to determine their needs and research manufacturing processes and technical development, tests products for safety and adjust them to meet engineering codes and safety standards.
They also create plans and designs using our CAD software, Fusion 360, to help design and manufacture our motors, control panels and remediation equipment.
Electrical Engineer Key Requirements :
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelors degree preferred
- 2-5 years of related experience
- In depth understanding of electronics, electrical systems and Mechanical Engineering
- Familiarity with design concepts, procedures and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Quality control results and analysis
- Fusion 360 experience
Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities :
- Designing electrical systems or their components
- Diagnosing and solving electrical problems with products or systems
- Installing, servicing, calibrating and updating electrical systems
- Repairing or replacing faulty electrical parts of a product
- Developing and testing electrical system prototypes or simulated events and making modifications if required
- Contributing to the compilation of user instructions
- Conducting inspections to ensure that products or systems are in a safe and usable condition
- Specify material requirements and create accurate BOM's for projects based on functionality, availability and cost effectiveness
