- $94,008 - $123,132 - Licensed
- $87,384 - $114,456 - Pre-Licensed
Clinical Social Workers providing in-person care in an inpatient unit will receive :
- $108,108 - $141,600 - Licensed
- $100,488 - $131,628 - Pre-Licensed
Recruitment and Retention Bonus for clinicians newly hired with the State of CA and providing in-person care has been restructured to provide a 1% bonus for the first 7 years, increasing by 1% year over year, maxing at a 7% bonus by year 7.
Work Locations : Wide Variety of Geographic Settings including the Northern California Coast, San Francisco Bay Area, California Capitol, and Southern California

In this role, you will :
- Conduct assessments and summarize case information to use in diagnosis, treatment, and dispositional release
- Diagnose and / or collaborate in the formulation of a diagnosis
- Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team
- Provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences
- Document and evaluate patients' progress in treatment
- Coordinate placement with community resources for patients returning to their communities
Minimum Qualifications
- California licensure (pre-licensed CSWs may be appointed, but will be required to obtain licensure)
- Master's degree from an accredited school of social work, approved by the Council on Social Work Education
