Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) UnitManager
Bushwick Center isactively seeking an experienced Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN) for our Skilled Nursing Facility inBrooklyn NY
DUTIES :
- Providesadvice & support to the Residents and their families
- Monitoring Residents and administeringmedication and treatments
- Documents Residentcare services by charting in Resident & dept. records
- Protects Residents & staff by adheringto infectioncontrol policies & protocols
- Resolves Resident problems &needs by utilizingmultidisciplinary team strategies
- Assuresquality of care by adhering to Facility philosophies &standards of care
- Supervising LPNs andNursing Assistants
- Maintains Residentconfidence by keeping information confidential
REQUIREMENTS :
- Should work well in a teamoriented environment
- Must be a valid New York Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN)
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in LTC settings
- Shouldbe friendly and a team worker
