Our client is hiring a Payroll Manager to lead and develop 4-5 payroll processors. This position will provide suggestions and input to improve efficiency and delivery of payroll.
This company is expanding, and the Payroll Manager will be expected to support the growth strategically!
Type : Direct Hire
Location : 100% Onsite in Mountain View
Pay : Depending on experience
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000 per year
Shift : First
Work Hours : 8 AM - 5 PM
Responsibilities :
- Oversee payroll for 1000+ multi-state employees.
- Manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles.
- Supervise a team of 4 payroll teammates.
- Process and resolve inquiries including bonuses, commissions, and adjustments.
- Maintain wage and hour compliance, including break and lunch pay rules.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll and reporting.
- Handle escalated field queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Provide bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to Controller and HR.
- Ensure payroll tax payments comply with applicable federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Maintain payroll compliance and prepare for new federal, state, and local legislation.
- Recommend education and training for field offices and management.
- Develop internal controls of all payroll functions and regulatory compliance. Conduct training with leadership and field offices.
- Lead and develop the payroll team by training, mentoring, and providing performance feedback.
- Draft and deliver performance reviews.
