IT - Project Manager I
Summary :
The main function of an Jr. IT Project Manager is to oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, with responsibilities including project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.
Job Responsibilities :
Supports PMO Manager and Sr. Project Manager
Project Management
Develops, tracks and manages project schedules, budgets, project plans, timelines and scope.
Creates and maintain project schedules, risk and issues logs, and other project documentation.
Monitor and control projects identifying variances.
Prepare status meeting presentations for stakeholder reviews.
Coordinate work with internal team to communicate tasks and deadlines effectively to maintain good working relationships with other City staff and consultants.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Business Analyst
Collaborate closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements and assumptions.
Collaborate with department liaisons or designated department contacts to identify and clarify requirements needed for the project.
Assist in reviewing project request with stakeholders to finalize project requirements.
Assist with creating project solution proposals and project documentation.
Presenting project proposals to stakeholders.
Prepare meeting agendas and facilitate meetings.
Project governance with milestone delivery, financials, and document repository.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
PMP or PMI certification preferred.
Project management tools experience.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible / adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.
Experience working with technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all stakeholders.
Knowledge of all aspects of technology including infrastructure, networking, and applications.
Compensation :
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
