As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery :
- Responsible and accountable for the nursing process and the delivery of patient care.
- Make clinical judgments and carry out related nursing intervention without supervision.
- Apply clinical knowledge regarding standard pattern of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings.
- Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegation of tasks and documentation.
- Responsible for care for the patient and delivery team.
- Provide a dedication to customer service.
- Ability to meet the needs and expectation of patients and health care colleagues.
Educational Requirements :
Completion of certified nursing program, BSN preferred.
Licenses / Certifications :
- A Valid California Registered Nurse License.
- ACLS & NRP from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
