Job Description

Schedule : Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (24 hour schedule between Monday and Friday also available)

Salary : $ / hour. Mileage reimbursement available

Sign On Bonus : $2000; $1000 upon completion of 30 days, $1000 upon completion of 6 months

The Adult Clinical Community Supports (ACCS) Driver promotes the full integration and functioning of adults with mental health services needed to live successfully in the community.

The ACCS Driver / Support Staff supports community access for Person's Served by driving their own or company-owned or leased vehicles, transporting and accompanying PS to, from and during community appointments as directed by Integrated Team staff.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Promote the safety of clients during transportation.
  • Monitor client status, reports concerns or incidents to supervisor.
  • Pick up and drop off deliveries of program materials and supplies, as assigned.
  • Participate as member of intervention team to perform skills teaching, and help client learn about community resources and obtaining resources.
  • Attend medical, psychiatric and other appointments with client as needed.
  • Adhere to Medication Administration Program (MAP) policies and procedures.
  • Provide crisis intervention to client, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in human services field is preferred.
  • One to two years related experience working with people with psychiatric disability and / or co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • Must possess a valid United States Driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.
  • Preference given to bilingual / bicultural applicants and applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions.
  • All candidates for this position must be a least 21 years of age and be able to pass a CORI, driving record, employment reference, educational and professional licensure check as well as a multi-state background check.
