Peak serves patients from all over the state with multiple locations and hospital partnerships throughout the Colorado Springs area.

Peak is seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Earning Potential : 500K-600K

Position Details :

• Ambulatory Surgery Center : 3 1 / 2 days a week
• Clinic Setting : 1 1 / 2 days a week
• Various Service Lines : Interventional and Hepatology
• Robust Clinical Research Department : (Additional income opportunity)
• Teaching Opportunity : If desired (Additional income opportunity)
• Hospitals Supported : Memorial Central, Memorial North, Penrose and St Francis

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough patient consultations to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders.
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and primary care physicians, to provide integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology through continuing education and research.
• Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and preventative care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient safety and care standards.

Qualifications :

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Colorado.
• Completed fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in outpatient gastroenterology practice.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
