- and more! CNC MACHINIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : · Setting production machinery for acceptable production processes and obtaining run approval.
- Ability to run 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC Mills· Analyze machine, tool, and program issues and makes basic repairs, as well as handling minor routine maintenance.
- Perform repetitive and custom work utilizing fixtures, machine stops, indexing devices, to control critical tolerances and dimensions.
- Assure conformance to quality specifications using a variety of gages and indicators.· Effectively communicate with personnel at all levels.
- Meet production quantity and quality standards.· Ensure safety guards and personal protective equipment are in place at all times.
- Follow and enforce work Instructions, procedures, and company policies.Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES of a CNC Machinist : · Thorough knowledge of specific department equipment and their processes.
- Able to read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions· Able to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes to take appropriate action.
