Location Marysville, Ohio Job Purpose Responsible for designing, following manufacture and processing of stamping dies for North American mass production facilities with outputs in the form of 3D models while working closely with customers and internal team members to ensure high quality parts and production stability.

Key Accountabilities Lead design of complex new model stamping dies utilizing CAD softwareIdentify and lead improvements or countermeasure tooling related problems during die builds, trials, and mass productionLeading and setting processing for new model panels for manufacturabilityDesign Project Leader of stamping tools for complex new model projects Follow and check in house and supplier designsInstallation of stamping tools at North American plantsLead category improvement projects that impact multiple Group and across the companyActively mentor and lead associate development activityInfluences and takes initiative to develop Group methods and improve processes Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of relevant experienceCAD software experienceMechanical / manufacturing knowledge Workstyle 50% office environment : sitting for extended periods and working on PC equipment40% manufacturing environment : PPE required at all times in manufacturing environment, standing for prolonged periods (up to 8hrs), occasionally lifting up to 40lbs, occasionally working inside injection machines, potential exposure to heat, occasional exposure to dust, oil or greaseUp to 10% travel required, including international (Japan, Canada, Mexico) Benefits and Total RewardsWhat differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
