Responsibilities :
- 5-10 years related experience with Equipment / Detailed Engineering
- Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types.
- Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics
- You will be part of a fast paced environment focused on both immediate delivery to customers and the long term evolution of the network.
- Creating install specifications (ISPECS) and applicable diagrams and drawings required for installation, turn-up, inventory, and configuration of Metro transport equipment deployed into the network.
- Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types
- Developing project Bill of Material (BOM) and placing orders for network equipment, rack, and hardware requirements.
- Strong project planning and time management
- Creating Material Requests.
- Center Engineer needed to drive the deployment of conventional and next generation core network technologies; including Access Unification, ROADM, NGROADM, Ultra Long-Haul (ULH), OTN Mesh, MSPP, DXC and associated electronics is a plus.
- Creation of I-Spec which includes : Coordinate Detail Engineering, Equipment / Hardware / Cable Ordering, delivery and Installation
- Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
- Knowledge or familiarity with the following systems : FIM, ICON, TCOMS, COFFEE, CCP, SRM / nSAP.
