We're seeking a Sales Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with a family-owned clothing distribution company in Chatsworth, CA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Individual will manage details of the business including inventory control, design collaboration, retailer communication, distribution center management, meeting preparation, and special projects.
• Time management, prioritization of responsibilities and attention to detail are all critical to success in this role.
• Inventory tracking and management
• Purchase order tracking, troubleshooting, and management
• Monitoring sales of retail partners and recommend actions
• Creating selling tools to support entire sales team
• Preparing documents, recaps, and physical spaces for meetings with customers
• Professionally following up with retailers on all open issues and opportunities.
• Managing retailer-based systems, such as NuOrder, in order to provide excellent service to our accounts, thereby creating strong positive relationships with our customers
• Working with the Production team on order timing and details
• Working with Customer Service to quickly solve and clear all order complications
• Working with Distribution Center management on all necessary shipping details
• Supporting President and VP of Sales on Special Projects
• 3+ Years of admin / sales assistant experience required
• Strong working experience with Microsoft Excel skills
• Monday-Friday 8 : 30am 5pm 100% onsite
• Salary $60-65k a year
