Thompson Gray is seeking an Acquisition Logistician with experience in Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) support for the U.S. Army.
Job Duties :
The qualified candidate will perform staff level acquisition logistics management functions in support of PD TMDE's life cycle mission.
Duties include activities necessary to support PD TMDE in implementing effective product support, which includes planning, developing, acquiring, and sustaining well-defined, affordable strategies for PD TMDE supported products.
Incumbent, under the leadership and guidance of the Program Officer, will support the following logistics functions and activities :
- Perform duties as the CALSETS Acquisition Logistician
- Perform duties as maintenance specialist
- Hand receipt and property management
- Shipping and receiving
- Develop, review, and staff various logistics documents :
- Material Issue Document (MID)
- Item unique identification plans
- Basis of issue plans (BOIP)
- Maintenance Strategy
- Sustainment Strategy
- Obsolescence mitigation plans
- Schedule, plan, and support various logistics events to include :
Various Integrated Product Teams (IPT)s
Various Working Integrated Products Teams (WIPT)s
Logistics staff call
Logistics scheduling and integration planning events
Manual reviews
Transition to sustainment meetings
Assist the CALSETS Program Officer and the PD TMDE, CALSETS logistics team in development and execution of various product support assessments and analysis.
Repair analysis
Failure data analysis
Various logistics assessments
Workload analysis
Capability analysis
Others as needed
Provide bi-annual progress reports. Six months and twelve months from start of work.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of general logistics experience. Existing SECRET security clearance highly desired or ability to obtain security clearance;
ability to work independently; excellent communication skills are required.
10 years of experience in TMDE maintenance (94H MOS or equivalent) is desired.
Knowledge of requirements outlined in AR700-127 is required. Knowledge of supply codes, their meaning and function is desired.
Knowledge of TMDE training is desired.
Knowledge of TMDE testing, troubleshooting and repair procedures is required.
Understanding of Army operations, task organizations, and unit structures is required. Army background is preferred. US Army service is desired.
TMDE maintenance structure experience is preferred.
Understanding of Army Logistics to included supply, maintenance and property accountability processes is required. Experience in these areas is desired.
Experience in the use of FEDLOG, Visio, CQUIP and CMTool and commercial data analysis tools is desired.
Experience with Decision Support Tool (DST) / LMI desired
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point is required
Experience in fielding utilizing the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) is desired
