Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Location : Mount Clemens, MI 48043
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 12-hour shifts, Nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)
Job Description :
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER), you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
You will assess, plan, and implement interventions for patients with acute and emergent conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize patients and provide compassionate care.
The RN is responsible for evaluating patient responses and making timely adjustments to the plan of care.
Responsibilities :
- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients in critical / emergent situations.
- Implement and manage care based on each patient’s needs, including medication administration and wound care.
- Make prompt and accurate interventions based on patient conditions.
- Evaluate patient responses to care and make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with the ER healthcare team, including physicians and support staff, to deliver patient-centered care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital policies.
- Foster a supportive and professional environment to ensure patient and family satisfaction.
Requirements :
1+ year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience required.
Certifications :
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required.
- BLS (AHA) required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications recommended but not mandatory.
- EMR : Familiarity with EPIC or similar systems preferred.
Profile Requirements :
Resume / Work History : Required.
License Verification : Active Michigan RN license required.
Skills Checklist : Must be completed within 1 year of submission.
References : Highly preferred and may be required during onboarding.
