Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Serves as main point of contact for current and prospective students and parents regarding admissions, financial aid, registration, and other enrollment-related processes.
Appropriately communicates and counsels via phone, email, and texts throughout students' college experience.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for face-to-face interaction with students, families, faculty, and staff regarding admissions, financial aid, registration,
- 2. Consistently and appropriately communicates and responds via phone, email, and text with assigned students to ensure a seamless transition to enrolled student status;
- 3. Proactively predicts and addresses the needs of assigned students;
- 4. Makes outbound calls for various campaigns;
- 5. Precisely documents communications, interactions, and information according to established guidelines;
- 6. Escalates inquiries to appropriate personnel, per guidelines;
- 7. Trains staff and / or student workers and serves as a resource, when appropriate;
- 8. Processes verifications and change requests;
9. Serves as a backup for the Communications Center by occasionally taking inbound call
10. Serves as a resource for enrollment services events / activities;
11. Assesses and reports on effectiveness of services provided; facilitates occasional surveys
12. Assists in processing immunization, lawful presence and tuition classification documents;
13. Generates and analyzes compliance reports.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
Three (3) years of related experience working in an enrollment services role or a customer service role.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and ability to abide by the regulations;
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrated ability to manage time and proven ability to achieve set goals and have a strong customer service attitude;
- Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines;
- Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette;
- Able to display empathy and deal with difficult and confidential situations;
- Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills;
- Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite, BANNER, NolijWeb, DegreeWorks, CRM);
- Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
