Job Description :

  • Managing and developing project plans (10%);
  • Interacting with customers and application engineers to define the project scope so that all aspects are covered at the initial stage of quotation to cover quality, costs, and delivery requirements to meet expectations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers as needed to align with the overall timeline of project management.
  • Coordinate with internal team members during the production, assembly, test, and mechanical integration cycle to eliminate delays in the project plan.
  • Maintain schedule accuracy to the overall project and communicate with customers timely throughout the production process.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas of improvement to streamline the process for continuous improvement.
  • Manage activities of a cross functional team(s) to ensure completion of the project on time (10%);
  • Monitor the quotation process and measure against key performance indicators.
  • Address delays in the process to win business and generate additional market revenue.
  • Coordination with internal team members for expedited projects and roadblocks with production constraints.
  • Address complaints and quality issues with internal team on field failures.
  • Coordinate technical resources to disposition product and identify root cause analysis for prevention.
  • Review status with the customer and the management team (10%);
  • Develop reports for quarterly board reviews with tier 1 customers and communicate internally to address outstanding action items.
  • Interact with financial team to address customer concerns and delays in the invoicing and account payable process.
  • Communicate project status through tracking reports showing current plan, and identifying actions needed to meet the schedule.
  • Drive effective meetings with both internal and external teams (10%);
  • Facilitate conference calls internally and externally to address project delays and setup recovery plans.
  • Produce meeting minutes with action requirements of each member as a summary to maintain records and document discussion to clarify objectives.
  • Identify allocation of resources to address quality and delivery gaps in the project plan.
  • Communicate design phase schedule changes that affect the overall timeline of the project and drive modifications of the quotation process as required to capture costing analysis and expedite of revised purchase orders.
  • Timely resolution of issues and escalation as required to avoid delays in project completion (10%);
  • Escalate scheduling concerns to the management team for authorization of additional resource requirements.
  • Escalate quality and cost concerns to the appropriate manager as required to drive additional business revenue and align with customer's expectations.
  • Identify strategic planning requirements with key projects to eliminate risk analysis on new project development.
  • Coordination of customer supplied parts and tooling needs being allocated to projects.
  • Identify and develop reporting requirements for data analysis and coordinate with technical support to provide timely reports.
  • Recognize and understand competing business requirements and make recommendations for the overall good of the project team.
  • Identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts with progress achieved to date.

Ensure timely implementation of ECOs (10%)

  • Timely integration of engineering change orders to ensure delivery schedules are not impacted.
  • Create formal communication plan to both team members and management.
  • Create and maintain project capital and non-capital spending plan.
  • Support integration of project ECO and contract management system into the daily operation of the business.
  • Ensure proper closure of customer related A / R issues (10%);
  • Coordination with customers on action requirements to alleviate errors in communication and understanding the scope of work requirements for contract preparation.
  • Evaluating schedule impacts arising from customer actions and change requirements.
  • Evaluate risk management with open actions and coordinate with customers to maintain project schedule.
  • Ensures program-related decisions are guided by the terms & conditions of the customer's contract. (10%);
  • Address quality concerns and coordinate customer responses for approval and appropriate documentation accompanies product upon delivery.
  • Identify best practice for improvements with schedule delays and make recommendations for implementation for future projects.
  • Plan and driving training requirements through management and technical resources as preventive measures of resolution.
  • Assign actions to internal team members and provide follow up document to insure closure of action items.
  • Understands all aspects required to launch a new program or order (10%);
  • Evaluate and recommend early-stage requirements for new product integration to develop processes prior to release of designs.
  • Setup and monitor progress of engineering experiments required to approve projects prior to product release to production.
  • Evaluate pricing adjustments with technology orders to compare with industry price modeling and align with customer budgets.
  • Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (RMA's) (10%);
  • Identify fault findings and report detailed instructions with team to establish corrective action plan.
  • Coordinate the return of product to the appropriate repair location based on the initial analysis and assessment.
  • Communicate an authorization number to track return products for evaluation and disposition.
  • Document failure analysis for traceability purposes and reporting to management for review.
  • Develop a project plan and identify resources required to coordinate and communicate a recovery strategy plan.
  • Track performance of return product and provide analysis to management to address as part of key performance indicators and continuous improvement of product development.
