Neuromuscular Medicine Neurologist - Assistant Professor - AC Track
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Expertise is required in the specific area of Neuromuscular Medicine. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D. / Ph.D. degree.
Applications must be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine.Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, Neuromuscular fellows, as well as EMG technologists.
Clinical responsibilities may include the clinical care of patients with Neuromuscular diseases with focus on acquired and inherited neuropathies.
This may include the performance of nerve conduction studies and EMG, as well as inpatient Neurology service time in line with the standard clinical department requirements.
The candidate may have active involvement in Neuromuscular clinical trials.We seek candidates who embrace and reflect diversity in the broadest sense.
