Job Description The Security Officer patrols facilities and property making observations to prevent or detect unauthorized persons or activities and unsafe conditions.
Maintains visibility to deter criminal activity, reports violations to law enforcement personnel. May administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations.
Follows organizational guidelines in reporting security-related information and is responsible to perform shift Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as applicable.
Required to work varying shifts and may be required to work some overtime. Reports to Sr. Security Officer.

Job Duties
- Patrols facilities and property making observations to detect unauthorized persons or activities and unsafe conditions.
- Maintains visibility to deter criminal activity; reports minor violations to police or other law enforcement personnel.
- Provides restraint under lawful direction and may administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations.
- Follows organizational guidelines in reporting security- related information.
Required Education Level No requirement
Required qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of military or security experience.
- Able to exercise physical restraint.
- May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.
