Systems Analyst

Description

Help support our nation's Veterans by joining our high-performance, financial technology team. SAIC is seeking a System Analyst in the FTS ITOS branch with an expertise in the business process flow as well as technical interfaces supporting the acquisition community.

Responsibilities :

• Expert understanding of OAL lifecycle and framework
• Knowledgeable with Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS) suite and EASS Helpdesk
• Familiar with external federal systems (SAM, FPDS)
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required
• Ensures communication and coordination of high-priority events and incidents with business and technical leadership
• Acts as central point of contact for business and technical engagements
• Ensures assign tasks to completion within schedule, budget, scope of the project
• Presents to leadership, stakeholders, the vision and strategy of a project.
• Creates a roadmap of planned deliveries, and capabilities to be delivered in each release
• Examine and evaluate current systems, identifies system requirements
• Documents interfaces between new and legacy systems
• Collaborate with IT team and developers to produce systems

Skills :

• Proven work experience as a system analyst
• Experience with software development and documentation
• Solid knowledge of business information systems
• Ability to explain technical details
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• A good problem-solving attitude
• Computer Science or Business Administration Degree or 8 years' experience as a System Analyst

Qualifications

Education :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems / Technology or engineering discipline preferred
• 10 - years relevant experience required
• 8 - years of relevant experience may be substituted for education

Preferred Experience :

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Capable to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Target salary range : $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
