About The Position
Job Details
Location : Indiana
Start Date : Early December
Schedule : 10-hour shifts and 24-hour call
Responsibilities :
- Handle 150 annual heart cases
- Conduct patient histories and physical exams
- Perform daily patient rounds, including CVICU
- Provide patient education and prepare discharge summaries
- Retrieve vascular tissue for bypass conduits
- Utilize endoscopic retrieval methods
- Perform first-assist duties on cardiac and thoracic cases
- Manage pre and post-surgical patients under surgeon supervision
