York Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is committed to being the leading provider of quality long-term care and related healthcare services.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC) who will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all Medicare / Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure appropriate reimbursement for care and services provided within the facility.
Responsibilities :
- Conducts concurrent Minimum Data Set (MDS) reviews to ensure achievement of optimal allowable Resource Utilization Group (RUG) category.
- Oversee the overall process and tracking of MDS / Prospective Payment System (PPS) documentation and submission.
- Integrate nursing, dietary, social recreation, restorative, rehabilitation and physician services to ensure appropriate assessment and reimbursement.
Requirements Certification : Current, active license as Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
Education : Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience : One year of clinical experience. Experience with MDS completion, reimbursement, clinical resource utilization is highly desirable.
AANAC Certificate strongly recommended
