HOW BEING A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Customer is seeking a proficient, detail-oriented, innovative UI Developer to design websites with functionality and aesthetics in mind.
• The UI Developer will work with Back-End Developers and Data Engineers to ensure that the website is optimized for several devices and presented in an attractive way.
• The successful UI Developer candidate will have excellent knowledge of Java, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. In addition to this, you must be able to work well within a software development team.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Experience : 10+ years
• Technical Skills :
• Front End Skills : Single Page Applications (ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), Responsive Design
• Back End Skills : Microservices, REST, Node.js, JVM (Java - Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.), Database (Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
• Build Tools : maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java / J2EE / products.
• Documented Experience with DevOps, CI / CD Routine
• Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)
• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
• Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.
• Implement the product's lifecycle : Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications.
• Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process.
• Security Clearance Level : Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph
• Preferred Skills :
• Front End Skills : Angular, Salesforce.
• Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.) Docker, Ansible.
• Documented Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Excellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL development.
• Location : Chantilly, VA customer site.

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40

Travel Required : Less than 10%
