The DC Center for Independent Living, Inc is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a mix of in-person and remote work.
Job Responsibilities : Prepare journal entries Assist with month-end close Generate financial statements Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Manage balance sheets and general ledger Perform account reconciliations Experience in public accounting Proficiency in accounting software Conduct account reconciliation and internal control Knowledge of tax regulations CPA certification preferred Financial reporting and forecasting Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning systems Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable Support finance department as needed Company Information : DCCIL serves people of all ages.
DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN DC TO RECEIVE SERVICES? Yes, you must reside in the District of Columbia to receive DCCIL services;
however Information and Referral is available to everyone. DO WE PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION? DCCIL does not provide transportation to the general public but each request will evaluated on its merits.
