Description
As a Construction Project Manager in the commercial construction sector in the Triad, you will be instrumental in driving projects to successful completion.
Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and the design team to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and executed efficiently.
You will oversee critical tasks that ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
The Construction Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Triad will be responsible for :
- Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
- Initiate RFIs to resolve issues in the field and plan discrepancies
- Process, review, and track submittals
- Review design and shop drawings to evaluate the impact on the cost and schedule
- Prepare Subcontractor scope of work letters
- Initiate change orders to the Owner and solicit bids from Subcontractors
- Perform estimates and compile cost breakdowns for the client to review
- Maintain procurement, submittal, and RFI logs
- Provide schedule assistance and track daily production
- Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Management staff

The Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Triad highly desired experience includes :
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field strongly preferred
- Experience with commercial or light industrial projects preferred
- 5+ years of total, progressive project management with a General Contractor
- Applicable project management software knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- People smarts and experience in a team-oriented environment
