ABOUT THE ROLE :

As a BIM Designer, you will collaborate directly with the Project Manager and Project Directors, overseeing the coordination and creation of project design deliverables and construction documentation.

THE HEART OF YOUR ROLE : RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dynamically support and coordinate all phases : planning, programming, design, engineering, construction, and project closeout.
• Creatively prepare sketches by studying architectural / engineering descriptions and specifications, creating a vivid picture of the physical, functional, and aesthetic requirements.
• Proactively support efforts related to scoping, estimating, and proposal creation.
• Serve as an expert resource and guide for less experienced BIM staff, helping to solve challenging or complex model issues that may arise.
• Assist the Project Manager by providing detailed sketches and precise revisions as needed.
• Develop, organize, and review building plans, as well as prepare comprehensive bid documents and construction contract documents for general contractors.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements by adhering to codes and regulations and expertly navigating the permitting process.
• Diligently review outgoing correspondence for accuracy and completeness, ensuring impeccable spelling and presentation.
• Consistently meet required deadlines, maintain drawing quality standards, and exceed client expectations with every project.
• Travel to design and coordination meetings and job sites, bringing valuable insights and expertise.
