What you will need to do as our Eastern Regional Operations Director :
- Manage and develop front-level managers for eight locations in the region.
- Management and execution of division budgetary goals and strategies.
- Adherence to and enforcement of all operational policies.
- Recruitment and onboarding of company management.
- Managing operations in the assigned division.
- Mitigating and monitoring risks associated with day-to-day operations.
- Providing solutions for our clients through operational excellence.
You must have :
- More than 5 years of experience and knowledge of :
- Logistics
- Operations Management
- Budgets; High Proficiency in Profit and Loss Analysis
- Risk Management
- Compliance
- Onboarding & Recruitment
Must have the ability to prioritize workload and manage time remotely :
- Excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization.
- Timeliness and responsive professional support to all internal / external customers and vendors.
- Effective organization and leadership skills.
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach, and influence employees.
- Identifies and resolves problems. Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Identifies opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources and develops / recommends / implements solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in management and / or logistics.
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and planning ability.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel 50%+.
