About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : MRI Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 1st, Weekend coverage - Friday / Saturday / Sunday Guaranteed Hours : 32.
00 Experience : Not specified License : ARRT registered is required. State license in Radiologic Technology if performing CT or general radiography;
not required if limited to MRI / Ultrasound Certifications : - Advanced certification through ARRT in MRI required within 18 months of hire- BCLS certified within 90 days of hire- CT certification must be achieved within 30 months of hire (if applicable) Must-Have : ARRT registration, MRI experience, BCLS certification Job Description : Perform MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and senior MRI technologist- Interact with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients, and visitors- Act as a resource for MRI technical and other related issues- Demonstrate competence according to specific guidelines and protocols- Operate MRI and related equipment, and prepare scan room with necessary equipment, supplies, and medications- Maintain images and archives associated with patient data- Other duties as assigned Education : Graduate of a JCERT approved two-year radiologic technology program is required- Two or four-year college degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business, or related field is preferred- Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class is required Language Requirement : Must be proficient in English Read, Write, Speak
