Akoya Behavioral Health is a clinician owned and operated in-home ABA program specializing in children with autism. Our focus is on the family and client together and we believe that by incorporating and supporting the family / caregivers together, we can do more.

Our clinical team is lead by a BCBA with over 20 years of experience in the ABA field, having served families and children in more than a dozen different states.

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians / Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide 1 : 1 care using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in the homes of the families we serve.
  • Implement individualized strength-based treatment plans.
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and support client development in areas including communication, leisure and independent play, social skills, and daily living skills.
  • Manage problematic / interfering behaviors through effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to the clinical team regarding client progress.
  • Maintain assent and ensure a positive and respectful environment at all times.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Remain open and curious to learn new skills and methodologies.
  • Utilize creative teaching and problem-solving skills to enhance the learning experience.

Candidate Qualifications :

  • High school degree or higher.
  • Preferably a portion of or complete bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or early education.
  • RBT certification in good standing preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Passion for working with children.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check.
