ClarifiStaffing Solutions is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacherto work as a member of the team to carry on the tradition ofexcellence in special education.

The Special Education Teacher isresponsible for IEP development and case management data collectiondifferentiation and intervention for academic and / orsocialemotional needs technology integration and ability to workwith different professions therapist and agegroups.

We are seekinga caring individual with a desire to help students achieve theirgoals to join ourteam.

TheSpecial Education teacher would be responsible for working withchildren who have disabilities including cognitive emotional orphysical disabilities at a elementary OR middle school.

Teachesdisabled youth life skills and basic literacy and modifies generaleducation curriculum to meet the childsneeds.

PrimaryResponsibilitiesinclude :

• Demonstratesknowledge of second language learning patterns and best practicesin English languagedevelopment.
• Plansand delivers lessons in English languagedevelopment.
• Collaborateswith classroom teachers and specialists to ensure achievement ofELLs across contentareas.
• Administersformative and summative assessments to monitor progress and ensurestudentachievement.
• Possessesthe skills necessary for serving as a liaison between the schooland thehome.
• Demonstratesthe ability to communicate effectively with classroom teachersadministration andfamilies.

Requirements

• Provenexperience as a Special Education Teacher or relevantrole
• Experienceworking with children with a wide range ofdisabilities
• Bachelorsin Special Education; Masters degree aplus
• Haveor be eligible to apply for an Illinois PEL with special education(LSB1)endorsement
• Mustbe able to work up to 37.5 hours perweek.
