Avesta Housing is looking for an organized and detail oriented individual to assist with the management of our portfolio of affordable housing developments in the role of Property Management Assistant in the Greater Portland area .

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent judgment

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with multi-family housing preferred.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to Avesta residents, staff, visitors, and vendors.
  • Experience assisting disadvantaged populations.
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks on a timely basis.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiating skills.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours / week), non-exempt position. Hourly starting range is $19.00 - $20.50 per hour.

Work Location

This position is based in Greater Portland and will require travel to a portfolio of properties throughout the area. This is an on-site role with some opportunity for remote work.
