Schedule : 24hrs per week NIGHTS - 9p-930a (8 or 12hr shifts) Why YOU should be our next Perioperative Float RN : - Magnet Designated with Distinction 1 of only 5 hospitals with this honor! - Exposure to Pre-Operative, PACU, and CPE patients - Are able to be there for our patients and their loved ones at a very vulnerable time by providing them with the appropriate education regarding their plan of care - Magnet Designated Hospital - We see a diverse adult patient population - Medical, dental, vision benefits - Generous PTO package - Tuition reimbursement What you need : - BSN required - Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required - BLS and ACLS required - PACU experience strongly preferred - Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred - ASPAN membership and CPAN / CAPA certification preferred - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients - Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities - Ability to adhere to all I.
