Salary : $25 / hr
Delivery and receiving of higher end furniture, wood, pellet and gas stoves, and prefabricated fireplaces, to mostly upper-end residential customers in eastern CT, and western RI.
Furniture may need some minor assembly, we DO NOT INSTALL stoves or fireplace products. Successful candidate(s) must have clean driving record, good communication skills, small tool skills, valid drivers license, medical card, (NO CDL required), be adept at driving cab over box trucks, good problem solving skills and operate with care and safety.
Two person teams take deliveries out. Mostly 9am-5pm days - weekdays and Saturdays, but some flexibility is available. Candidate must have physical fitness commensurate with the lifting and moving of merchandise such as reclining sofas, bedroom pieces, dining rooms, wood stoves, etc.
We do have the latest material handling assets and trucks are newer vehicles. We have stair climbing hand trucks and will train on their usage.
