In this paid internship, you'll be empowered to work on challenging and complex issues in a collaborative environment with other talented interns.

Over the 10-week program, you'll participate in business projects, mentoring, leadership development training and team-building activities designed to set you up for professional success.

The summer Internship program runs June through August, with flexible dates available, based on school schedules. Interns who perform well and demonstrate a commitment to our values of integrity, creativity, teamwork, passion and excellence may be extended employment opportunities with Western Alliance Bank.

The intern will be a team member of :

The marketing intern will support the marketing team in their advertising, social, website and email projects for multiple business lines.

What we are looking for :

• Assist in copywriting, design, printing and distribution of sales material including : collateral, email, presentations, promotional items and website updates.
• Support with content development for LinkedIn and the company website.
• Monitors and maintains internal marketing materials inventories, fulfills collateral and promotional item requests.
• Support with research for various projects.
• Coordinate both internal and external research initiatives.
• Interact with key stakeholders of company business lines to answer questions and fulfill requests.
• Provide logistical support through planning customer events, employee events, and scheduling / coordination for meetings.
• Develop meeting agendas, take and distribute meeting minutes, and track / follow-up on action items.
• General administrative assistance, provide backup support for other positions.

Individuals who are passionate and entrepreneurial, just like our clients. Specifically, we're looking for top-performers interested in pursuing careers in Commercial Banking.

You may be a fit for the program if you meet certain eligibility requirements, including :

• Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a related field of study
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
• An interest in working in the Commercial Business Banking industry
