Accounting Manager
Job Description
- Manage and oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Conduct detailed inventory analysis to ensure accurate valuation and reporting of inventory levels.
- Identify discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve issues.
- Perform and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
