Job Opportunity :

Berxi has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team.

This role is based in our Boston office and will report directly to the Director of Data & Analytics. Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business success and operational efficiency?

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Collect data from various sources, implement performance metrics, create Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports, analyze trends, and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to guide business decisions and strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing dashboards and reports and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and possess the ability to respond to their requests and develop appropriate solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate that into technical requirement documents.
• Collaborate with data architect, data engineering, project manager, and QA teams.
• Perform data mining and analysis to support ad-hoc requests.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested by the Director and the leadership team.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience :

• 3+ years’ experience in BI solution and data analysis.
• Solid hands-on experience in building Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports and writing SQL queries.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Working knowledge of data models, database design development, data mining and related techniques.
• Working knowledge of finance and key performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adept at rapidly responding to changes in priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud platform is a plus.
• Insurance industry experience is preferred, but not required.
