POSITION SUMMARY to assist the Head Tennis Professional in the organization, implementation and administration of the tennis / pickleball programs offered at the club .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach group lessons to adults and juniors
- Teach private lessons to adults and juniors
- Assist with adult and junior program development
- Assist with Club Championship for adults and juniors
- Promoting the game of tennis / pickleball at the Club
- Assist with running member tournaments, mixers and other special events as requested by the Director.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- USPTA or PPTR certification prefered
- Excellent public relations, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm and the ability to motivate members and co-workers.
- 4+ years experience teaching tennis to adults and juniors.
- NTRP level 4.0 or higher
- Candidates must have a strong playing / teaching background.
- College education is preferred
Compensation :
- $25 to $40 hourly
- Private Instruction $ - Negotiated Percentage of Lesson Fee
Summer Bonus negotiated
