CV Resources is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee and manage multi-divisional accounting operations for a large regional hospitality industry client.
The Controller will ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial functions, including managing vendor payments, journal entries, reconciliations, payroll entries, and tax reporting.
This role is integral in driving financial strategy and maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including vendor payments, payroll, tax filings, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and review financial statements.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, including labor rates for production facilities.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
- Oversee cash flow management and collaborate with executive leadership on financial planning and special projects.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing training and development opportunities.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with financial partners and external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of experience in a Controller role or similar position.
- 5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 3 or more employees.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with software such as Restaurant 365, Toast, and / or ADP.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
