Accounting Manager

About Us : Complete Care is expanding rapidly and is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic Accounting Department.

Position Summary : The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our financial infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience with audits, and a proactive approach to process improvement and internal controls, including the development and enhancement of quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
• Prepare complex journal entries, conduct detailed analyses, and perform account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process.
• Contribute to the development, review, and analysis of annual operating budgets and performance projections, providing insightful recommendations.
• Oversee accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury functions, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
• Conduct thorough internal audits and work closely with external auditors, leveraging experience from previous roles in audit firms.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and other financial processes.
• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and reporting.
• Meet all financial processing and reporting deadlines, maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
• Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Controller and CFO with strategic financial planning and other duties as needed.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred, or actively working towards CPA certification.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience working with or within audit firms, with a deep understanding of audit processes and requirements.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality control processes.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost integrity.
